I've got a T60p with the 5200, and it's not too bad. Medium/medium-high quality with Portal 2, medium with TF2, and if you're a minecraft fan, using linux has gotten me up to 50-60fps on normal render distance.
I haven't played any newer games yet, so I can't tell you how Deus Ex runs on it, sorry.

I've gotten my 6 cell from Staples about 2 years ago, Lenovo branded, and no problems with it so far. Looking at the site recently, they seem to sell only Lenmar's now - not sure if their quality/reliability is any good, but a lot cheaper than what I got my battery for.

I've finally gotten the board, and there was no problems in putting it in (the old fan fit nicely, the PCMCIA slots were the same, etc.). It's actually running about 5°C cooler now, though the fan seems to be running full speed most of the time. The battery life is still pretty good, as the V5200 ea...
