Thanks again. I ran the benchmark app you linked for me and my machine scored a 73. I forgot to set the power profile to max performance but the temp's didn't go over 90C according to CoreTemp. No locking up or freezing.

Those holes are the ports to oil/lubricate the keyboard through... J/K! There may be a limit to the volume and rate of liquid poured into the keyboard but it would probably survive most spills that would occur. That is certainly a good point to make. A lot of people get the biggest fastest most expensive machine you can buy to surf the web and store pictures on. Knowing what you're going to use it for makes decisions a lot easier and more economical rather than getting the biggest and best.
