I think you may be onto something with the keyboard firmware - is it possible to downgrade this?

It looks like it will be a faulty battery, or worse the motherboard.

I would remove both batteries, then plug in just one of the batteries and try to charger and then visa versa

If still not charging and you have tested with known working ac adapters it is looking more like the board

Freezing is quite likely to be a RAM fault, so if it happens again you could try swapping the RAM, next most likely is the SSD

Diagnostic tests often come back fine, but there can still be an underlying hardware fault

The issue could possibly be a contact problem with one of the batteries.

Can you try with just one battery, internal first, then if the problem persists try with the external battery

Upgrading the BIOS is normally a straightforward process, just ensure the battery is well charged and the ac adapter is connected, but as the previous poster put if everything is working OK it may be best to leave as is.

Try setting the BIOS to the default settings to see if it is then picked up, otherwise you may need to reseat the cable for the FP reader

It seems it is not Windows to blame, as you have tried different versions and also within the BIOS and if you have tried two ac adapters and the docking station it looks like it may be the internal charging circuit unfortunately

Yeah I have seen quite a few X200's and X201's with a similar fault, must be a design fault

Did the problem start after installing Windows 10? or is it a problem which has just started. From the information you have given it sounds like a hardware failure which is causing the intermittent audio problems

Without seeing the laptop I would suggest the screen would need replacing, it could be worth checking the connections into the screen. The ultimate solution maybe to replace the whole screen unit which would be simpler

It sounds like you have the software installed but you don't have the Bluetooth module. Do an eBay search for T30 Bluetooth module and you should find one fairly cheap, the module raplaces the modem module in your laptop - but you would need to ensure you have the bluetooth aerial to plug in

Does the sound work through headphones plugged in?

It would certainly be worth a try, you should be able to use the Intel client software also - which may improve on the built in XP software

You could also try removing the HDD, and DVD drive if swapping the memory does not work

In the power manager advanced setting, you can use the battery maintenance utility to recalibrate the battery - this may be worth trying
