Re: Post your desktop.

The panel doesn't seem to play friendly with very dark wallpapers though. Takes a second to transition to a full white Hi Latios, nice desktop. The 'dimming' over 5-10 seconds is a 'feature' of power management that you can disable by going into Intel's graphics settings --> power options --> disab...

Re: X220 Tablet with Linux (Ubuntu) rotation script

Glad you like it wolfman. ;) Thanks "the undecided"! That implementation rocks and is sure to make it easier to find. :) I am not going to take credit in copyright because I modified it to the Thinkpad x tablet series (specifically my x220) from some long lost source for some older/different brand t...

Re: details on x220i

Doesn't the "i" just stand for the low-end i3 processor machine? I am unaware of a Celeron processor in an x220.

Re: My little desk (links to big pictures)

What's that IBM keyboard? Do you like it? What's with the rainbow keyboard buttons or whatever on top? :D

Sorry for reviving this old topic... I'm just very curious.

Re: My new X220 Tablet!

Check out my script here: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=104228 How do you get it to execute when the button is pressed? I tried within the settings to create a new keyboard shortcut for it, but unfortunately it does nothing. I would love to know if anyone's figured it out! Great pi...

X220 Tablet with Linux (Ubuntu) rotation script

Hi everyone! So, I just installed Ubuntu on my new X220 tablet and I wanted to share a little script that I worked on to make rotation work with the computer, because by default when you rotate the screen orientation the pen, eraser and touch inputs do not rotate as well. So, with this simple script...

Re: X2xx/X30x Shipping thread

I have a Lenovo T61 right now. It's awesome, I bought it on Ebay for 350 bucks and I have an Intel 320 SSD in it. Faster than any other laptop I know. However, I am upgrading for college! My Dad (very generously) bought me a Lenovo X220t for my high school graduation. I'm so excited to try out this ...

Re: Cautious AC Power Adapter Question...

Little lecture on electricity -- As long as the voltage is correct, you will not fry your card. The wattage, 90/65, is regarding the charge time, the amount of electricity possible to be pushed through the battery. You shouldn't do less than required because it's possible that it will not charge (us...
