Yoga 260: Firefox cannot access hardware graphics accelerator

New to me computer. Windows 10 works fine. Edge works fine, and loads stuff fine. But Firefox... browsing the web, graphics just intermittently don't load. 3 times now I've gotten a popup error from the system saying that Firefox cannot access graphics hardware. Lenovo software says everything is up...

X1C vs Yoga 14

Have a Yoga 14 that I really like, but would like something a bit smaller.

Do any of the X1C's have stylus input? I see the -tablet version does, but do any of the regular X1C's have them?

And is there a chart somewhere that outlines the differences between the generations?

Thanks all.

X250: 2100: Detection error on HDD0

Kid's school computer threw this out yesterday. Won't boot to Windows. No new installations, upgrades, or anything like that. Hit some key sequence (forgot and the machine isn't in front of me) to get to diagnostics. Everything self-tested A-OK. I did some googling and searching here and I'm seeing ...

TPT2 - what went wrong?

Bought a TPT2 a few years back when I was in school. During school it crapped out and I needed something that worked and I needed it right then and there. So I bought this Dell POS that I've still been using. But it still works. TPT2 would more often than not give the Win8 version of the BSOD during...

thinkpad tablet 2 charging issue

some googling indicates that this is a common issue... I bought my TPT2 second hand (still in warranty) and it does not charge well via the usb plug. I don't have the factory usb charger - I'm using a 10W Belkin unit F8J052. It takes FOREVER to charge. Overnight in sleep mode, it got to about 50% fr...

Re: X60T screen blanks

does indeed sound like a similar problem. I deleted the driver that was loaded, and have been running on battery power for 40 minutes and have had zero flickers or screen blanks. driver sounds like the culprit. but I can't get the driver to which you pointed to load properly. going to keep working a...

X60T screen blanks

not sure if this is a windows problem or a hardware issue, but I'm inclinded to think it's Win 7 related as it never happened with linux. periodically, the screen will just shut off as if I've hit Fn-F7. But I can't hit Fn-F7 to turn it back on. Computer still responds, so I put it to sleep, wake it...

Re: Win 7 and autorotate on X60T

just loaded up a whole slew of ThinkVantage stuffs.

Seems to work now. Well, when I flip the lid back it rotates 90 degrees. Is it supposed to automatically rotate such that the screen is oriented correctly, or is it just supposed to flip the 90 turn?

X60t - clean XP install

Which stuff from Lenovo do I need to install to get the pen and screen rotation to work? I don't have XP Tablet edition handy, but do have SP3, and my understanding is that the tablet stuff was included in SP2. Was working on using Linux, but have given up as I need this thing up and running sooner ...

using tablet function of X60t under linux LMDE

X60t: anyone get screen buttons / stylus to work under linux

Kinda sorta have my X60t where I want it. currently have Linux Mine Debian Edition loaded up and am wondering if anyone here has been able to get the screen (bezel) mounted buttons to work or the stylus input to work? I've been reading as much as I can find, but I'm a noob when it comes to this. exp...

well crap. I thought I remembered which OCZ drive had the problems and I remembered it wrong. I bought a 60gb Vertex Plus at MicroCenter this week. Tried loading up various flavors of linux only to have none of them work. at least they're local and that makes it easy to return. edit: it fit the sled...

touchscreen works under linux?

Recently (like last night) I acquired a dual branded (Lenovo on the back, IBM on the front) X60 (6366-4DU) and am wondering about the touchscreen. In a nutshell, it doesn't seem to work. At least with my finger. I'll order a pen if I need to, but if it's a linux thing where the touchscreen doesn't w...
