Mine is only 3 days old. But I do not know if it is worth to exchange it. That will take too long.

I got on dead pixel on my T42. I guess IBM will not cover for that. It is right in the middle of the screen, very easy to spot.

If I partitioned my T42 hard drive into two, then use the recovery disc. Will the partition be gone?
