Still for sale. I just found a second new keyboard that I'll include plus a case for one of the DVD burners.

Re: x220 random shutoff - thermal ?
Is this when running on mains or battery? The x220 is prone to loose battery syndrome which will cause shutdowns.

Re: Crucial msata - Anyone got them yet ?
The quoting in your post got scrambled. Actually, the statement from Lenovo that was posted previously in this thread cautioned that if using an mSATA SSD as a boot drive, its reliability is not guaranteed. My take on that is that Lenovo isn't guaranteeing it. And of course they wouldn't, since the...

Re: Crucial msata - Anyone got them yet ?
SSD's aren't magic. But the question I asked is if there is a legitimate reason NOT to use an mSATA device as the boot drive. I would still like an answer if anyone knows. If there is a legitimate reason, I haven't seen anyone here posting any experiences that would back up that reasoning. I hadn't...

thanks great I will probably go for it... -you think there are no problems with the graphics card either? thanks Apparently it switches to discrete as needed, using Optimus. I have never owned that technology. I just need some luck, the e shop is a bit shady...has the lowest prices..but this item i...

Re: Looking for Thinkpad Recommendation!
Hi everyone, I am looking to purchase a Thinkpad for strictly word processing and reading journal articles. Its keyboard, build quality, and reliability are of utmost importance. Also, I want a relatively quiet system. ... Basically, I have the Thinkpad in my signature, but want another that is use...

Re: FS - Four Dell Latitude D-430 laptops with tons of stuff
What about only HDD or SSD ? and BT I'd be happy to sell the HDD separately but I wouldn't want to take a laptop apart to remove the BT. Quite frankly, unless you have a specific need for BT, I'd really pass on the units that came with this vintage computer. There were different versions for XP and...

Re: Is it time for a new laptop or should I buy a SSD
No matter how much you love/attached to/like your T60, sooner or later it will be time to purchase another laptop. As Wins 8 have only just being released maybe wait a little longer for more better options but in the meantime purchase a SSD and maybe at a later date switch this SSD to a newer purch...

FS - Four Dell Latitude D-430 laptops with tons of stuff
I've just migrated my family from our D-430's to x-230's so these have to go. The Lattitude line is Dell's Thinkpad equivalent and the D-430 is the small, light and solid model. Here is a link to the technical specs. http://www.dell.com/us/dfb/p/latitude-d430/pd and a review http://www.notebookrevie...
