Re: My Tesla Model 3 story (very long)

Great story. I just realized something... all of the cars I've bought for myself since 1974 until now have been manual transmissions. 1971 Capri 2000, 1980 Mazda RX-7 GS, 1984 Mazda 626 Touring, 2000 BMW 323i. End of an era. Yes this is end of an era. But i am so young to give my life to laptop;) An...

LF: 701c Display Cover Assembly (04H8326)

Summer is here and and "butterflies" are fluttering here and there . ;) It's time to fix it. Mine display housing have fractures where it connects to hinges so it need to be replaced. HMM (tpvol2) says that 701C and 701CS have the same display cover assembly. I need only this part, but i can buy com...

I'm wondering if ... maybe some/one "out there" with (for sure) non-Middleton BIOS T61s could see if HWiNFO32 (or 64) reports the main HDD @ 3gb/s or @ 1.5gb/s :?: :??: I have no unmodified T61's. Drivers for "Options by IBM"

Yes. We have good collection of drivers for our beloved ThinkPads. But where one can find drivers for ThinkPad options made by IBM? SK-8845 (T4x-like keyboard with USB) is the main problem. There are many topics there and on other forums. I have tested many drivers and combinations but can't make it...

Bad news:( ThinkWiki was (and currently is) my #1 bookmarked web site in ThinkPads group.

I have written to ThinkWiki admin some years ago to get editors rights. Can't get some, but my hints from that e-mail have been posted on site.

Re: "Shipping Impossible: 'Wrong Side of the Pond'" [Non-US users?]

One of the reasons people won't ship outside of the USA is the horrendous price that USPS charges. +1 to RBS. There are more companies (other than IPSParcel/GLS) that can reduce shipping costs by consolidating parcels and shipping them as a BIG parcel. Some companies even can help participating in ...

Now I'm trying to look for a 15-inch T60 and/or T60p. I can at least be assured that they have a LED IPS screen right? So that's one less part to source? No chance for LED - these were all CCFL. You need to make a LED-conversion yourself, using i.e. Xiphmont LED strip and controller if you want to ...

Have done some experiments and can't succeed.
Have opened BIOS image with phoenix BIOS editor and have found some images for Intel and Lenovo logos but have't tried to clear them from BIOS.
