Re: X9000 - is it worth it?

I have a X9000 in my R61. It doesn't really feel any different than any T61 or T500 I've had with a T series CPU. It also has QXGA display so battery life is useless anyway. I think the better choice would be the 1066 FSB mod so that you can run a P9000 series CPU or maybe a quad core mod to run the...

I'd have to check. Do you know where I can find it out?
There should be a sticker between the RAM slots stating the FRU.
Thanks. Machine is sold.

Re: FT/FS: X201s (5143-28U) for a larger ThinkPad or $150

I happen to have a T500 that I wanted to turn into a daily driver but my plans have changed. It only has a WSXGA+, so knowing your requirements you might want to grab a cheap Sharp panel from eBay. Send me a PM if interested. I might consider trading for the X201s. I remember how desirable (and expe...

Re: FS: T61 4:3 SXGA+ T9500 NVS140M

I don't know. The previous owner thought it had an Intel GPU so I'm fairly sure it has never been tinkered with. Since 4:3 T61s were never sold with the safe GPU from factory, I must assume it has an unsafe GPU. That being said, it has been very reliable in the year or so that I've used it.

SOLD: T61 4:3 SXGA+ T9500 NVS140M

I'm selling a T61 in good condition. It has a 4:3 display with 1400x1050. T9500 CPU with 4GB of RAM and NVS140M NVIDIA. Minimal to no wear on the palmrest. Minor wear on the exterior (some scratches) and some wear on the German keyboard. It does not come with an AC adapter. It is fully functional an...

Nice repair work! I wonder if it's possible to tap into the Displayport and connect an IPS eDP LCD panel. My X301 is running an AFFS panel via LVDS: https://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=119764 Also I found a pic of my overclocked X301: https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t...

Re: WTB: T500 or W500 with 1920x1200

I have owned a W500 with Samsung WUXGA before and it was enough for my purposes. I remember how dim it was. I can live with it and even prefer it over the LG, but I'm not fussy and will take either. I eventually upgraded the Samsung on my first W500 to the SHARP WUXGA and I intend to eventually do t...

WTB: T500 or W500 with 1920x1200

I'm looking for either a T500 or W500 with a WUXGA display. Doesn't matter if it's Samsung or LG. Not looking for something in amazing condition either, but should at least be presentable. I don't care about the specs, but the following are a must: -WUXGA (as mentioned) -complete unit (with HDD, AC ...

Re: LF: 90W AC adapter for T440/X240 etc.

I already have one of those as my current brick has the old barrel plug. There is a small chance it might just me my adapter that's broken. In any case, I don't have any ThinkPads with the old plug around me so I might as well get the new one.

LF: 90W AC adapter for T440/X240 etc.

My power adapter gave out so I'm looking for a used one. Must be genuine Lenovo. 90W for T440 and similar models. Offer me what you have, looking for one sooner rather than later. P.S.: I have a genuine T440p/T540p 6c battery with 85% capacity that I'm willing to trade for the adapter. Otherwise I'l...

I'm selling an E420s in good condition with normal wear. It boots up and seems to work fine but I have not done extensive testing. Does not include HDD or OS but comes with AC adapter.

Re: W520/W530 1080P FHD Screen Quality?

W520 FHD easily beats the X220 IPS with its shameful 60-70% sRGB by boasting 95% AdobeRGB, good contrast and good viewing angles.

Re: WTB T61 with 4:3 screen

I already have a mint T61 for my collection. Although I'm looking for a good condition, I think it would be a shame to use your nice immaculate T61. I don't mind scuffs and scratches as the machine will be used and receive wear anyway, so might as well start with something that's already been used.

Basically, what I need is a full standard T61 4:3 in good condition. I don't need the following but I'll take it if its a mostly stock/untouched T61.

-AC adapter
-CPU
-HDD
-Keyboard
-LCD panel

FT: X220t (i7) for a T420 or W520

Done. I have a X220t in a very nice condition, but it turns out that I don't need the pen at the moment and I'd rather have a machine with a DVD drive. So I want to trade my X220t for a T420 or W520.
