There is nothing to convience you of. Just a personal tip - do NOT buy T43 (even in case the price were the same). I think T43's is the worst T model ever... If you are so desperate, go for T42. So whenever I get the CPU at full load for a while the cpu gets very hot (60-75 C sometimes 80). The problem is the fan never get faster. I've heard the fan become a lot faster before just not when the cpu is at full load anymore. Edit: I have the 2686-DGU well, it what they call passive cooling......

I can't but agree, my fan starts off in 15/20 mins does not matter what. Withing these 15/20 mins the temp may hit 50, but the fan stays off. But as soon as 15/20 mins barrier is crossed, ciao, my tp has to start screaming...
