At one point he started to talk why he actually came here, in his opinion we (western world) are fully responsible for everything bad that have happened to him and his region, The western world has been manipulated by Israel who are trying to create chaos in the middle east. Hello and welcome to the forum.

That is a wise thought and any improvements may barely be noticeable but bricking your T420 is a real possibility.

Re: x200 needs 10 minutes to boot, then runs fine.

The X200 is a VPRO chipset so it has Intel AMT and ME version 4. In your Bios you should have Intel AMT disabled under Config. Also check your time out setting. Edit - The security chip should also be disabled under Security. Only the Anti-Theft can be permanently disabled. I think the only way to t...

Re: "ME is in recovery state" Appears when I boot my X220

BTW, if anyone can explain what the error message 'ME is in recovery state' actually means, I'd love to know. When you did the reset you actually reset the Embedded Controller which runs Intel ME. You actually have 2 different operating systems in your X220. Little is known about the OS that Intel ...

Re: "ME is in recovery state" Appears when I boot my X220

Have you just updated the Bios? Maybe see if you can reflash the Bios. Did you use the modded bios or the Lenovo Bios? You could try either now maybe. Edit - I just read somewhere where another person had this problem and removed the Bios battery and it came good. Or maybe you could just remove you ...

Good write up with detailed pics.

Re: Using Windows 7 key on Windows 10 and still using Windows 7?

I agree Windows 10 isn't always compatible with old computers but why then did MS overly push it to users then? Besides this they made rolling back to Windows 7 problematic for users. Also with new editions of Windows 10 being forced on users new problems would appear and testing of these feature up...

I remember doing PLC programming on something similar but with the green screen I think. I can't remember the make but I think it was Japanese and a 286.

Yes that blue screen is a little nasty but the laptop it is in good condition. For the time they were quite small and compact.

OK, I don't think that worked out so well in Minnesota for Justine Damond. It seems like many law enforcement personnel are too incompetent to own weapons also.

Owning Guns requires people to be responsible, sane and balanced. Especially with society in today's world 100% of the community are not suited to owning weapons. America have created a culture where most think it is their God given right to own a weapon. The consequences follow and it will probably...

If you want to buy a P50 then just buy it and I think the risk is overblown, TBH Unless you are doing IT work for heads of government or military suppliers.

For me it would be my T42 , but as pointed out by "pianowizard" this doesn't include your workhorse laptops. It just happens my workhorse laptops are X220, X201, X301 and X61 so I would still have basically the same thinkpads. :D The A31 is OK but it is a bit bulky for my liking compared to the T42 ...

Fear and counter ideologies at war creates income for Oligarchs who back both sides and nurture kaos and security paranoia.

Governments and Media are controlled by these interests .

Slowly and seamlessly like boiling a frog in a fry-pan. Freedom, choice and privacy are only illusions.

Western Governments have stoked terrorism fears and security paranoia which has allowed them to bring in these draconian laws.

Media control has allowed this the happen seamlessly.

It won't stop me going back to New Zealand especially the south island.

In reality unfortunately this is what we have to put up with now when we travel. But saying that it would only occur in serious rare cases like terrorism or drug trafficking.
