Hi, Why was my post deleted? It was just to warn anybody in case that user Excal32 came back in the future, possibly. The emails can be used to identify them. Re: synaptics

You can't delete Synaptics without having a different set of mouse drivers there. The Synaptics will reload itself everyday because it's the default driver that Microsoft Windows loads. If you want to use TrackPoint only, I would recommend using ThinkPad UltraNav driver and then setup the settings s...

Re: How to keep palmrest stickers from falling off

Whatever you like. I just replaced the Fridigaire decal on my AC compressor and the Keep you GM car All GM sticker on the air cleaner housing. Now I have to find the radiator coolant level decal which must have been blown off when they re-cored my tanks. Original 52 year old DELCO radiator tanks. T...

Re: T510 headphones priority - 1ST WORLD PROBLEM

Are you able to go to the Sound settings and then change your Playback default to your 3.5? Windows sometimes gets confused with multiple speakers. When in my docking station, I have a soundbar that should take priority, but it sometimes reverts back to the laptop speakers. Just a word of caution, k...

I think the worst Windows themes goes to Windows 10 themes are pretty weird since the recycle bin icon seems super 90s and doesn't fit in the progression of the icon from XP to 8.1. I do like Windows 10's landscape background where it can give you changing pictures from various vistas (LOL) around ...

I don't think I've ever seen "Energy Bliss" before. Looked it up now and it's quite nice indeed. It is mostly single color, which I find better than multi-color wallpapers like the original "Bliss", and easier on the eyes. My favorite stock Windows wallpaper through is Vista Ultimate Strands or der...

You can also get nice stickers of e.g. a lovely little penguin. Rip the old stickers off and put the new sticker there, to cover the blemishes. Yeah I'm working on a Linux transition. How to keep palmrest stickers from falling off

Some people may just take these off because they prefer the clean look, but I actually like the stickers on the palmrest to keep it looking like the day it came from the factory. Is there anyway to keep the stickers from falling off? So far I've tried a glue stick but eventually they start sliding a...

I thought synaptics was the default mouse driver Microsoft Windows adds in everytime it doesn't detect a different driver (like UltraNav). If the OP wants to disable the TouchPad and use TrackPoint only, then UltraNav has an option for that.

I have a 10mm RI dual stack, but I rarely carry it because of the weight. Very reliable, very stout in 10mm.

My usual pants puller down is either a SIG-Sauer P220 (German KC coded) or P225. Sometimes a P99 or USP9C.

I had also done the PrtSc to Menu/Application Key since I can't live without that one. I never understood what the Insert button did, so that became my PrtSc. It was also real shame they got rid of the NumLock overlay on the keys on the right side. Back when my keyboard was still fresh and it had th...

Do you have UltraNav or Synaptics driver? The UltraNav is what you need for it to work. Did you go to check that "Use as pointing device with advanced features" was enabled? And also that two finger scrolling was enabled? These settings could have been reset because it's a new device.

Huh, that's interesting that a mouse driver would fix a blue screen. Yeah Synaptics is the default driver that loads in Windows.

Alright, well everything sounds right physically based on what you're describing. I'm sorry, but I don't know how to resolve the blue screen. I stay away from Windows 10 because the updates like to break things. Perhaps you could try a new post about the issue and see if others can help out.
