Okay, I googled a bit and it seems that the X60S' CPUs are low-power, just like the ones in the X60T - will the mainboard of a X60S work with a X60T screen?

Another problem is that a normal X60 has a 35w TDP CPU, while a Tablet version is equipped with a 17w TDP CPU like the ones inside the X60s. Well, if this photo is right, it's got the same CPU as my X60T , a Intel Core Duo T2300 , so that shouldn't be a problem, right? Edit: Okay, I seem to be wron...

X60T with X60S mainboard - possible?

I tried upgrading my X60T's BIOS this morning, but I couldn't use the bootable CD, as the IBM DOS prompt didn't detect my cheap USB CD drive, so I grabbed an old 80GB HDD, installed Windows 7 on it (I usually don't Windows, I'm more of a Linux guy) and tried the upgrade.
