I'm going to raise this thread back up to say that the new TP Yoga 12 perpetuates this same annoying behavior. This doesn't happen in my T60, but I get Firefox oddities on my T61p; if the browser is open for more than half a day or so, it will 'black out' pages/tabs - simply restarting the browser fixes it. Does it happen on any simple pages or just google maps JS heavy pages? If the latter its just the CPU/GPU running out of steam or available RAM. Whats the CPU utilization when these freezes happen? I've not seen this problem detailed elsewhere, but on both my T60P and X61T, I get occasional graphics problems using Firefox, so I'm guessing it might be a driver issue with this generation of Thinkpads.
