nah that doesnt work like

seems to be a common bug

the solution, for those curious:

Download an app called PowerStrip and manually set the resolution of the second monitor.

Best,

x60 + 1366x768 monitor

Hi all.

I am trying to hook up my x60 to an LCD TV. The native resolution of the tv is 1366x768

When I connect it, the best I get is 1024x768 (and i know it can drive way higher resolutions).

This stretching is making me

Has anyone run into this problem before?

Thanks![/b]

I installed Vista myself back in May...this is my first issue really.

I am using a core 2 duo x60 (the top x60 you could get before x61 came out if that helps).

x60 fails to start in dock etc

I have a pretty full dock-o-stuff: every port and then some is taken up with hard drivers and other devices. 1) More often than not (and this is a recent occurence) my x60 will not start in dock. It will turn on, show the Thinkpad logo...stand there...and then switch off. If I remove it from the doc...

strange volume/brightness business going on

I do not know if this is Vista related... At random times my light will show itself off, the volume will mute itself, or the brightness will go to the lowest setting. At times it will just show the status (the green thinkpad native one at the bottom of the screen). This is very random... but very an...

I actually like having my desktop be "square". The idea of a 12.1 wide screen makes me think that looking at documents and web pages will be weird...too short of a screen...and useless real estate on the sides

With the t60 refresh on the verge and the Santa Rosa announcement on the horizon....when do you think Lenovo will update the x60 with Santa Rosa and Intel GMA (whatever the next one is). Maybe PCI-E?

Any input on this is great...might have to sell of the 60 to be on the bleeding edge
