I realize that you are not crazy about selling your Frankenpad outside Europe, but I have been looking for one for a while. If we can work out the shipping, what is the reduced price that you're now asking?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Those who own the 15" T4xp laptops, how useful are they in 2017?
If you want it as a document processor where the screen & screen size come into play they are great, not so as a web browsing device where modern JS laden pages kill the single core processor. Well like I said, with OS/2 you can watch youtube and browse most things comfortably. And that's on a Bani...

Re: T21 or T22, how to tell?
Well sure it is certainly better than today's laptops sound at least in my preferences. However, from what sound my T23 produces, it seems to sharpen the higher pitches that it kinda hurts my ears. I am pretty sure it is not because of a defective pair of speakers or anything because it is not the ...

Re: T21 or T22, how to tell?
Kinda enjoying playing all the old dos games on my existing T22, think I'll freshen it up and sell it on That's why I keep my old T-20 series systems around. I have a maxed out T21, T22, and T23, and a dozen ore ore"spares" The 3 best ones have 80-120GB HDDs pretty much the max for these systems. I...

Is this stuff still available? I picked up a really clean T21 at a yard sale, and would like to see if I can get it to work. Thanks

Re: T60 display fails after boot to XP, but works on external monitor
My guess is it sounds like the display driver is getting confused after you log in/it loads the user registry hive and sets the display mode to external only. Then when you actually connect an external display and remove it, the driver "sees" that the display is disconnected then reverts to LCD onl...

Thanks for the responses. I'm sorry that mine is so late. After installing factory image, I think I'm going to just do a clean install on a new drive. I'm looking at msata drives for the WWAN slot. It seems like putting one there would make a nice boot drive. And it gives me time to save up for a la...

Re: W520 error on boot
The PXE error is caused by the LAN adapter's boot ROM not finding a network to boot from. Is there an operating system in the HDD? Try a bootable USB flash drive, preferably one that can check the HDD and/or RAM. I had ordered a set of recovery disks from the tech support people in Atlanta. They ca...

W520 error on boot
Hello everybody, I just purchased a W520 4284-a96 from eBay. The machine was sold as parts because it was missing an AC adapter. huh? Anyway, I couldn't pass up the price, the box is in great condition, and the guy offers a 14 day return policy. So, when I boot up the machine I get the following err...

I installed Presentation Manager, and I'm able to set the screens up just as I wanted them. One curious thing, though. I have set up the two screens as extended. I'm able to put the applications right where I want them, and they work fine, but I notice that fn =f7 doesn't cycle through anymore. I ha...

Potentially unusual T60 at great price
Hey, I saw a machine on that other site whose name we do not speak. It shows a type model of 2007-5bu. When I looked it up on the incredible German site which gives specs per type model, they say that this a a 1400X1050 sxga machine using x1300 graphics. Is this possible? I sure would appreciate som...

I'm working with a T60 w/ x1300 graphics running Windows XP. I connected a flat screen lcd display to the vga out on the laptop, but I'm not sure what I'm getting. The screen appears to extend onto the attached display, but nothing can be moved to this area. The mouse cursor will move over there, bu...

Nell, I don't have the ATI utility that you spoke of on my system. I'm downloading the utility now and ...

OK Nell, sorry about the lack of info. I'm using a T60 2007-5Cu which has an ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 adapter. Screen Rotation w/ XP Pro SP3
I need to use an external monitor in a vertical orientation for a word procession project. I have looked, but don't see any way of rotating the screen using XP Pro. Am I just missing it, or do I need another OS? Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm new, so any errors in my post, please advise.
