Exciting project. Just want to point out that some of the features of classic Thinkpads probably aren't needed anymore. Ultrabay: Used for additional storage, optical media, extra battery. Additional storage is better served by a free 2.5in drive bay or even M.2 slot. Optical media is basically dead...
