No worse than biden's "no they (the voters) don't have a right to know" whether or not he will try to "pack" the supreme court. if fact biden is being very disingenuous there.
Agreed. Why can't he just answer the darn question?

I was always more into the games on the computer. I did have an Xbox but never really found myself to be as fond of playing the Xbox compared to the MMORPG online games on the computer. I always enjoyed the human interaction part of these games, but overall did just do not have the time nor energy t...

By any chance do you travel a lot for work? In some companies, I noticed they will use the X1 for the travelers within the organization and give more of the Thinkpad T series to those who are in the office all the time. If you do travel, any comments on the overall effectiveness of the lightweight a...

GomJabbar You should have suspected a bad keyboard first. Unless there's traces of coffee in the X220's system board, there's a good that it still works. Hindsight is always 20-20 they say. A teaspoonful (more or less) of coffee was spilled on the lower right area of the keyboard, around the arrow ...

OR asking everyone and their mother which distro is best for them :D - again only the individual can determine what his or her individual needs may be

Re: Time for a "what distro are you running" thread...

What's a good distro for T60/T61/Frankenpad-type (or core 2 duo era period) machines? Basically one that works 100% out of the box and is lightweight yet functional? Any distro usually works with the age of machine, the decision is which WM/DE interface you want to use. Some distros like debian or ...

Re: T410 vs T420 vs T430

But if budget is important, then the T420 (with 1600x900) will do you fine for yet a few years. I agree with this - I had a T420 before driving it into the ground for some time in addition to my T430. As much as I don't *mind* the T430 chiclet keyboard - it definitely is not the same as the T420 ke...

I don't like the new look. At all. Way too bright and shiny, and not in a good way IMO. Having everything that was on the left now on the right is also not something I'm thrilled about. Overall I am seeing much fast loading times and the theme is appealing to the eyes.

I think it will just take time however to get use to the author's info on the right instead of the left. I see this as being the biggest challenge for me.

Overall though I think it is an improvement! :thumbs-UP:
