Re: T61 nV GPU voltage

So I made measurements in other programs. HWInfo displays the same values as GPU-Z (1.15-1.2V), Nvidia Inspector displays the same values as Aida (0.95V). I've also run several benchmarks GPU and temperatures are to 60°C at full load and 2500rpm fan. So it will be how Screamer writes. The GPU is und...

T61 nV GPU voltage

Hlleo everyone, on the weekend I made a pin-mod on the T61(FRU 42W7649) with nvidia NVS 140m graphics card and installed the CPU P9700. Everything is up and running good, but now I can not undervolted GPU. It still works at the factory voltage, used BIOS from Highsun with 0.95V voltage. I want to as...

Yes, transformer from inventer is gone. I have tried different operating systems and is always watching the PWM for the lowest brightness. On the Board with Intel graphics is all right.

Re: X6X-series LED backlight conversion kit howtos

Hello everyone, I want to ask the difference between xiphmont mod for the HV150UX1 and the factory LED HV150UX2. I have the HV150UX2 screen but I do not mind two things. First, the lowest brightness value is still too high for work in the night and secondly, PWM is known on the boards with nvidia gr...

Re: Intel T9900 undervolting with pinmod

Hi, what are the temperatures in IDLE and the load and at what fan speed? I use the 32bit Windows most often for testing system, IBM_ECW is working well, which I use to undervolting the CPU. Do you use a nvidia or Intel graphics card? TDP 18W looks great :D, I'm waiting now for the P9700 processor. ...

Re: Beware Update KB4457139

Hello,
do you have a list of "malicious" updates from Microsoft? On my desktop PC I have no problems, but my Frankenpads after updates sometimes stop working, especially Hotkey and Power Management. Thanks.

Core Duo CPU into T61 mobo

Hi everyone. I have a question, can I install the CPU Core Duo T2700 into the T61 motherboard? These processors have a lower TDP, specifically 31W, so I could achieve longer battery life and lower temps. Thanks.

Re: New methods to reduce the fan noise in a T60 or in a T60p

EDIT 2: I have successfully modded the EC firmware with modified rpm values for the fan. Huge thanks for forum member "lab", he helped me out with the checksum modification. The new fan levels are: 1700-2200-2700 (factory values were: 3000-3400-3800). In all fairness I could have started with 1800 ...

Re: Windows 7 or XP up to date T61 ISO's?

Excellent tip 4uk4a! I just tried the SL410 recovery discs and they worked great on my T61 board. I just had to uninstall a bunch of bloat and install a fingerprint driver but it's activated fully, I've just got to install some Windows updates now. :thumbs-UP: Hi, you have nvidia or intel graphic c...

Re: Boe Hydis UXGA better than modern IPS?

Hello everyone,
I have a question about a spare screen, I'm looking at a new screen for a new Frankie. I found a new Sharp LQ150U1LH22 screen. Do you know if anyone uses ASV technology? Thanks.
