Keyboard - some keys stop working - T540 hardware problem

The T540 keyboard has about 7 of its keys, stopped working. The seven keys are usually on the right hand side and in a group, but could be in any row, and within 1 or 2 columns of each other. There is a relative easy way to convert an ordinary power charger, as small as 65 W, to work with the W540. I saw that on Lenovo forums, or maybe here. Basically you order an adaptor for a few bucks from the charger round plug to the square power connector format. Open up the square plug in the adap...
