I have plenty IBM logos for lots of different ThinkPads, they sometimes are a dime a dozen, and don't really mean anything (because they are interchangeable with Lenovo ones). But the X60s vs X61s makes a huge world of difference, such as 3GB RAM vs 8GB RAM, 32-bit vs 64-bit OS, SATA I vs SATA II, ...

My apologies if it should be WTB, I wasn't sure what the difference was.

I'm looking to buy a T61 with 1400x1050. T60 frankenpad with a T61 mobo is ok. I prefer a Penryn but I will consider other offers.

Also looking for this same thing but SXGA+ only. Anyone who sees this thread feel free to PM me as well if OP didn't buy yours.

I'm interested, but curious, was there a point to putting the X61s mobo in the X60s chassis, is that just for the IBM logo?
