Unlike a T60, the X60/61 has a modular base which prevents heat from reaching your lap.

Bought a 25yr old new in the box Firebird brand Li-Ion battery for a TP760 and it appeared dead when on the charger. A day later it started charging and it now holds 2.5hrs if you can believe that.
