Re: Another question for Mini Dock Series 3 and 170W
Great info, thanksmpcook wrote:If you have the 4337 dock, then the 135W adapter will work fine with the W520. I have done so. The 170W adapter will not fit because of the teeth. I have not tried to modify the 170W.
It won't decrease performance or be a disadvantage in any way?

Another question for Mini Dock Series 3 and 170W
Hello, At the beginning sorry if this post is similar to others. My personal one is T410 and for work I have received W520. At home I have "ThinkPad Mini Dock Series 3" and using 90W adapter http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product-and-parts/detail.page?&LegacyDocID=MIGR-72871 And I'm thinking what t...

Unfortunately this purchase is with delivery option only, so I can't see it with my own eyes.
There is a ThinkPad logo on the body, but clearly no on the lid.

Checkerboard cover for T410 screen lid, lenovo's idea?
I found a cheap T410 unit, but it has this weird checkerboard cover on his screen lid.
Is it a lenovo's idea? Or someone just wants to make his laptop pretty and maybe cover used lid screen?

My was also loose... one day it just happened. But for me when I stress it up, my mouse stopped working... so let's say it was defected. Thanks to my luck ( :) ) network card stopped working properly and IBM replaced my mobo and everything got back to normal. Dunno if they can do that on guaranty on...

Re: Are T61 and R61 WSXGA+ displays the same?
So I've made my choice. T61 with Intel X3100 and WSXGA+ display and I must say WOW. Very nice... Maybe colours aren't the best (too much blue), but contrast and brightness are very good. Way better than 14,1" SXGA+ on T60. Viewing angles ech... well it's a laptop. X3100 can do CS 1.6 and Unreal Tour...

Are T61 and R61 WSXGA+ displays the same?
Hi, The same as a topic :) From my market I could buy R61 WSXGA+ with NVidia or T61 WSXGA+ with Intel. I wouldn't like anything besides IBM/Lenovo and my budget is very tight, so this is my only option. I've heard that T61/p and R61/p with NVidia have some bug in the graphic card, so this would poin...

Upgrading from T60 14,1"SXGA+ to a better screen and machine
Hi, I'm searching for a better machine. Currently I'm using T60 T2500 with SXGA+ 14,1" panel. Most important is the space/resolution, the more the better. And, of course, better quality of the picture. From what I've read my screen supposedly is the worst of all (nice to know after buying :) ) And n...

14,1" SXGA+ LCD Panel from T61 for T60, will it work?
Hi,
My 14,1" SXGA+ 1400x1050 LCD Panel in t60 has stopped working. The only solution for me at this time is to buy screen from T61 (also SXGA+).
Will it work? And with the same cables and inverter?

Audigy on pcmcia/expresscard doesn't have DSP processor for sound (or something like that) so your internal CPU will be used. (based on requirements of creative's card and google, if i'm wrong please correct it) Also sound quality isn't that good. There are plenty sound cards with USB 2.0 that can p...

You probably won't like it, but here it goes :) Had the same problem. IBM did many changes in Windows, e.g. 80 port is blocked. Now I'm on a fresh installation of XP (activated with cdkey from the bottom of a laptop, no problems with that) and Omega drivers. And I must admit, everything works better...

Is it just with these sites? Are you having issues with any other sites? I've opened about 20-30 sites. Didn't have time for more. Only this two sites didn't work. My DNS are 194.204.159.1, 194.204.152.34, if you'd like to check that :) but probably it's something else (dunno). There is a checkbox ...

Thanks for the review. The new 11 opensuse works really strange on my T60. DNS for ati.com or amd.com doesn't work property. On XP there's no problem, so it isn't connection issue (DHCP). When i'm trying to configure network through a tool in tray, it's saying that i should use yast or something lik...

X60T and X61T "Flexview" question (PIC)
Now I own T60 14" sxga+, but I want to change it to X6x tablet version. Why? Mainly for better screen (really don't want 15" IPS) and weight. And here's a big question. Does all XGA, SXGA+, MultiTouch or not are Flexview/IPS like matrix? Is there a differences between them in brightness, contrast, a...
