just to add a little more info to this. I'm not using a USB mouse or keyboard - I'm using a wirless PS2 mouse and keyboard plugged into the port replicator when the thinkpad is powered off. the mouse "works" however its performance is very poor, very jerky and the scroll wheel doesn't work. Further ...

I've mailed IBM about this and not had a response back yet. this looks very clear to me to be a software issue (mouse driver) when the laptop is docked. I'm not sure how this will work when the laptop is docked,I'd appriciate it if someone with a better understanding of how the docking station would...

Interesting responses, however this does not help my situation because a.) the wireless reciver is connected via PS2 on both keyboard and mouse into the docking station/port replicator b.) The USB ports on a T30 are not accessable when in the port replicator The must be some way/trick to getting the...

Poor Mouse Performance When on Portreplicator (driver ?)
hi all, I have a few thinkpad T mobile laptops ranging from a 21 to a 30. Each one of these has had the IBM driver packs installed which include the trackpoint driver. I've started using one of these along with the port replicator as a "docking station" for one of the users as a "portable desktop" s...

T30 + Portreplicator = REALLY slow boot - super slow.
Hello all, I have noticed that when I dock any of my thinkpads with a portreplicator that the boot time is really slow. For example it sits on the IBM (Bios/Alt Boot device) boot screen for a good few minutes before it starts the windows boot process. I have noticed this on a T22 and T23. I've just ...

Additional information request
I've got 2 Thinkpad T30's here and I'm having the same problem with 1 of them. An interesting point to note is that if I stick 2x256 sticks in the buggy T30 it detects both Ram sticks and displays 512, if I stick the 2x512 sticks in it only detects 1, is this a known issue that it only effects the 5...
