T410s /w Nvidia Switchable Video Card Available for order

It seems you need to choose the 128GB SSD model, and then the NVIDIA video option is available. Cheers!

I am sorry to hear that.

I once had overheating problem on my old T60 (200766U) and the GPU went as high as 105C. It turned out that they forgot to tear off the plastic layer on the thermal compound.

My specs are here Almost the same as the T500 reviewed by Notebook Review here which scored 4371 Two runs - I get 3904 and 3884. Could be that the FireGL drivers are more conservative and thus slower. Could be an XP/Vista difference. According to Notebookcheck: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Comparis...

Personally and aesthetically speaking, this machine looks like a major dissapointment, as well as the T61 series did. What's with the screen STILL not being centered? Now there are keyboard issues? And I wish they still offered a 14.1 4:3 aspect ratio screen. Which sadly I don't think will happen a...

Re: great news for old Europeans

Hi all, the first new thinkpads are popping up in different shops here in Germany. It is unbelievable but the prices reflect more or less the converted USD prices. e.g. a T500 top model costs about 1700Euros and I think that costs about 2400 $ in the US. That would be awesome. I just checked my inv...

Combining the spreadsheet with the specs released by Lenovo earlier leads to a conclusion about the T400: Don't get the integrated graphics unless you want a display with only 185 nit and no LED backlight. It's not always a bad thing of lacking the LED backlight or having a slightly low nit value. ...

Also, how does the CPU improve wireless-N? Doesn't it mostly depend on the quality of the router, and the N card I use?? It doesn't, but "Centrino 2" refers to a new wireless card as well (the 5000). Don't know how beneficial it would be though, and of course the card is only half of the card-route...

Since most part of the W500 would use the standard Montevina platform, I think it is just a matter of time before you can run Linux on it. Of course, the problem for running Linux on cutting edge hardware is that you usually need to wait a couple of months before 95% of the hardware run flawlessly.

I am kinda disappointed. I own a 14" T61p. Its video card is not as fast as the 15" T61p, but at least faster than the one in T61.
