These temperatures are not abnormal. If the CPU stabilizes on them and does not get increasingly hotter and hotter, I would not worry too much.
Sometimes have peaks of high temperature around 83°C. Does this affect too much the processor lifespan?

1. AFAIK hardware video decoding is disabled in Linux builds of Firefox. 2. What's the temperature when idle? What's the ambient temperature in your place? Hi everybody. How are you? Rencently i bought a ThinkPad x220(Core I5). Is a very good computer for study.
