Thanks for the link. Never thought to try REGEDIT and I did find the drivers installed there,

E580 Won't Boot
E580 Won't Boot - and I'm pretty sure I know exactly why. Problem is.. how can I disable it? I bought it with a HDD but replace it shortly after with a SSD. But I didn't know (or forgot about it) about the Active protection. I should have removed it I guess in hindsight. Now when it boots, Windows 1...
