The problem will be finding a reasonably priced and reliable mSATA with reasonable performance. I ended up just throwing a Samsung 860pro SSD in my T420 because of that. If you have any performance issues try Zorin Lite. I did run into some issues on my T420 with it getting to work the way I wanted when I closed the lid. Otherwise very nice.
