760XD - bad mainboard, bad BIOS flash or something else?
On my workbench right now I have a 760XD booting issues. I'm wondering if it has BIOS issues, or if the mainboard is screwed. - With CDROM and hard drive attached, it will power up. It will recognize the RAM, give a POST beep then stop. The speaker icon on the LCD will flash, and the floppy drive ic...

Re: 765L Odd Power Issues
The CDROM isn't recognized by itself. With the hard drive connected, the CDROM is recognized, but fails diagnostics:
DEV 215
ERR 93
FRU 9010
Someone else had this on a 770Z and it turned out to be a faulty mainboard. I'm thinking it may be the same here, unless someone can tell me otherwise!

It also passed all of its diagnostics except for the hard drive, which would spin but wouldn't calibr...

In detail: 380XD Hard Drive Support (dual-boot)
Hello Forum, New member here. I have a 380XD with a 40Gb HDD. I've been using Ontrack's Disk Manager Overlay so Windows 98SE can use the full size of the disk. Recently, I've replaced the hard drive with a 16Gb solid state drive, and wanted to set up a Windows 98SE / Windows 2000 dual boot. However,...
