It could be an incorrect EDID or the LVDS cable is not connected properly. I've had the "white pixel" issue with a loose LVDS connection to the screen when I re-assembled the laptop.

Have you tried switching the SATA mode option in the BIOS between Compatibility and AHCI modes? I've had OS's not start up because it was set to one or the other.

I think it might be the cable. I have a faulty T60 15 inch screen cable where it shows the power light and wifi light but the other lights don't turn on unless I flex the cable a certain way.

It's a modified Windows 11 install from phoenixliteos.com called "Windows 11 Ultra Lite Team OS edition" it's snappy and works well on T61s but a bit slower on T60s.

I'd like to believe that these screens don't ghost but so far I haven't seen one that doesn't. If anyone that has one in their Frankenpads that could drag a dark window with white text around to test for ghosting I'd like to see the results.

I asked Sebileis about this and he sent me a recording of the same model boe hydis panel he owns and the ghosting looks like it matches up to mine, so I guess this is normal behaviour.

Update: 18th of November 2021 I have purchased and received a second modded cable from RBS (thank you again by the way), hooked it up and the ghosting still persists. I thought about that too, the Nvidia graphics were working fine before the screen swap so I swapped them back to make sure I didn't break it or if it happened to die on me right then, but the old display still works. I'll just have to swap the T60 board back in and use it that way.
