with the help of the forums, i downloaded catalyst 7.4 drivers and modded them. I managed to achieve 1920x1200 on my external monitor. The problem is that my external monitors' resolution is actually 1920x1080 (full hd) and the image is a little bit distorted. I can select 1920x1080 resolution but i...

Yes, I can confirm this worked a charm for me too. 1) Downloaded DH Mobility Modder @ 1.5mb. 2) Downloaded ATI Catalyst Drivers @ 35mb. 3) Downloaded Microsoft Dot Net Framework 2 @ 23mb. Installed 3, semi-installed 2, ran 1, continued install of 2. One reboot later and "hey presto...!"... 1400x105...

which version of catalyst drivers did you install?
I installed the latest 8.4 catalyst drivers and suffered many problems.
Needless to say that 1920x1080 nor 1920x1200 that I am internested was not an option.
I posted my issue here: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=61142

t41 external display 16:9
hello,
I have a t41.
Can I use an external monitor with 1920x1200 resolution?
I can get higher than that but every resolution possible is 4:3 and my external tv is 16:9.
Is there a program that can force a resolution?
P.S. I do not have a docking station and my configuration is ATI Mobility 7500.

i have the same problem, the mobility 7500 is not good supported for Vista. I am working with the XP drivers now in Vista and even though they are better than the standard vista drivers i feel a better version of the drivers should do a better work. unfortunately amd has stopped support for our grap...

Bluetooth modem compatibility between T41& T42
I have an 91P7315 BMDC (the one for T41) and I would like to know if I am able to use on my T42.
IBM site says that 91P7319 is the right BMDC for T42. Will i have problems if i put my T41 BMDC into my T42?
Thank you.

I have installed a Wireless card (non-IBM) and the usual stuff occur: unable to boot and stuff. I use latest bios/controller releases 3.17/3.04 i think. well the good news is that i can eventuall...

T41 2373-8RG Power Consumption 24/7
I have a t41 and i wonder how much power does it consume?
i consider having it work all day all week.
will i have any problems doing so? will i have to take out the battery or something? is it good to underclock first (battery mode)? how much watt does it consume? will i have any other problems?
