1. Oh, one more thing, do get the 65W AC Adapter (USB Type C). ie: DO NOT get the 45W AC Adapter; the savings are minimal and it would greatly increase your notebook charging time. 2. There was a similar discussion regarding hardware encrypted SSD and OPAL encryption here: https://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=123463 We note that your SSD is an original OEM OPAL 2.0 compliant SSD and using Win10 Professional 64-bit, which in theory should support hardware encrypted SSD...

One can dedicate an old T42, paired with Port Replicator II and permanently connected to LCD projector,
specialised in showing Power Point Slide presentations from different guest speakers (stored on their own USB thumbdrives).

This is especially useful in church & charity settings!

We bought X1C4 and X1C3 instead. Specifically, we avoided buying the X1C2 (Gen 2, circa 2014) because of these major keyboard usability issues: 1) X1 Carbon Generation (X1C2) had no left, no right, and no scroll buttons on top of the TouchPad. Some ThinkPad users complained that you sometimes accide...
