Now this gets hairy, if it is at all possible to purchase M10 128MB or 64MB (Radeon 9600) graphics board and replace the M9 64MB Radeon 9000??

That would really make my DAY!

Hey THANK YOU THANK YOU! Well, don't know if it works but I got a hunch you hit all the right tones. I know you need to change cables at minimal but the invertor is important for the new higher rez LCD screens. Plus the BIOS boot up update, just about sums it up all the necessary steps, can't think ...

Upgrading the BIOS sounds all dangy and such but realistically do you have a phone number of a business that sells that BIOS? I would love to get in touch with a business that sells these BIOS, I know where to get the LCD replacements (SVGA+ 1400x1050)

Without a question, higher resolution 1400+ is definately BETTER! Hit CTRL-SPACE for the blind and the old, instantly enlarge your screen if you have to. 1024x768 is obsolete.

I like to know this too... as I broke my XGA (1024x768) screen on my T42-X95 w/ ATI 9000 64MB, want to replace with SVGA+ (1400x1050).
