Can't see sub domian

My local network is part of a domain that we want to separate into its own domain. For example we were part of Domain.org and now we will be part of Sub.Domain.org. When I try to login on the T42s, I don't see the sub domain as a choice nor am I able to manually type it in as the list is not editabl...

I was curious if anything should even be nessesary. I would think that since it saw that there is no domain to connect to, it would just use the alternate config for the tcp settings and automatically grab a private IP. Maybe this is not how the alternate config works.
