shouldn't it be possible to use a can of compressed air or the like to blast the dust off the screen?
I wouldn't recommend that, I tried before and the dust got deeper into the screen.

I have a cracked palmrest and requested a replacement from Lenovo. Instead, they sent me a box to return my laptop in.

This was back in December and I have yet to send my laptop back as I haven't been able afford three days without it.

Yes, when I bought the 73P4301 for my T43 on the Lenovo Website back in March. The box itself was labeled 73P4301 and the card inside was 39T0355. I've had absolutely no problem with this card since and I experience less dropped connections compared to the 2915abg card.

Re: different keyboards for T60s?

The keyboard you have is the ALPS keyboard. The other keyboards that are available are NMB (39T0958) and Chicony (39T7178). There isn't really a visual difference between the keyboards, rather it is the feel that is different. You can use the search function to look for reviews that have been posted...

It may have to do with the trackpoint (the red cap in the middle of the keyboad), that isn't positioned correctly. Simply remove the cap and the scrolling should stop, then put the cap back on and everything should be working smoothly again.
