Webcam on T410 new windows 10 installation
Hey, Bit the bullet and installed Windows 10 Pro on my T410. Everything works, even the webcam... EXCEPT Camera and Skype cannot detect my camera. I know the webcam works because if I run Lenovo Web Conference it works. In Device Manager I have uninstalled the Ricoh webcam, done hardware detection, ...

I understand the two system boards were matched to different resolution displays. I wasn't completely surprised when the 3261 video sub card exhibited the display problem. I thought maybe I would get lucky with the 3306 video sub card from the old system board. You didn't state explicitly, are we ag...

OK, no bites on this. What are the possible, or most likely causes for the lcd display not displaying two inches vertically on the right side of the display? It just appears this portion of the display is not being addressed. LCD controller is bad (I assume on the system board)? Bad connection betwe...

A22M/A22P Display Issue
My A22M (2628-TTU) developed a problem where I would get some video corruption at the cursor position followed by a hard system lockup. On the heels of this I would get video corruption while booting, or a black screen, and occasionally only beeps. ( a long beep, two short beeps) Apparently this ind...

Reinstalling regained function. It turns out there is not much in the hotkey package that is of use to me at this time. I know there were some prerequistes for some of the packages and I wonder if the hotkey utility fell prey to that. I used the software installer to download and install something l...

THHKMGR is running in the process list... but I do not see any way to activate hotkeys. I uninstalled and reinstalled the package which says it is good for W2K and the A22M. Is there an actual manager that can be opened to acitvate hotkeys? There is nothing in the TP Configuration utility that deals...

Hotkeys Utilities Not Working
Is there some secret sauce involved in getting the Hotkey utilities working? I have an A22M (2628-ttu). Last night I installed the latest software installer and updated everything avilable. Running Windows 2000 Pro. There is a folder, \Lenovo\pkgmgr\hotkeys\ with executable and such in there. But no...

Software Installer Question
By default the software installer puts the downloaded and expanded files in C:DRIVERS\. After the downloads have been installed can I delete those directories or does that break the installer when it tries to determine if there is new software to download. I guess my assumption is there is a file th...

Last night I was looking on the Lenovo site and it appears there are some new power management and battery management utilities available. It is a bit confusing as to exactly what I need to download and install but I will get it sorted out. I must say however that I've used the automated ThinkPad Up...

TP A22M Battery gone bad... or not?
I think my Li-ion battery (02K6618) is probably getting weak but I have some questions. First I tried 3 deep discharge/charge cycles with a normal W2K boot but did not gain anything to speak of. Timers off, suspend off. Design capacity 38.88 Wh but current fully charged capacity reported as 3.08 Wh....
