Well.....

I had the pressure marks replaced on my x40 under warranty, and I believe underclocker did as well. Honestly, it probably depends on the rep you get on the phone and how convincing you are.

Very tempting...

Of course, even if the CCFL is going, you could send it over to our forum friend jamiphar. You would still have a nice deal, even after paying him to fix it!

Oh, cool! Does he have a 240X as well?

If I had a MacBook Pro, you'd have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands. I don't think I could ditch it for an R61, but to each his own I suppose. Is he looking for more durability?

LF: x2x keyboard

Hello boys and girls!

I'm looking for a keyboard for my lovely little X22.

I'll consider anything you throw at me as long as all of the keys and TrackPoint work. PM me if you have something.

Thanks!

I was never able to get my X23 to boot from USB flash drive, and honestly I don't think it can be done unless you can somehow fool the BIOS into thinking the drive is a USB floppy. If you need to install software, as a general rule your best bet is to boot from a USB floppy drive that contains the a...

I used to collect all sorts of old Mac stuff, and I actually have System 7.1 on floppy. The QuickTime installer disk has gone south, but I will try to make images of the other floppies and get them on my FTP server. I'll let you know when I get them uploaded.

I did think of adjusting the setting that dims the display when running off the battery but I also do like having as much battery life as I can get. Therefore, I shall just live with the dim display for now. Fair enough, but even with the BIOS settings changed, you can still adjust the display brig...

I read kt as carat, but owning a 24 kiloton nuclear-powered ThinkPad would be too awesome for words, and would probably allow you to get many great discounts from Lenovo.
