T60 Intel/1000 PL jumbo frame support

It appears that the Intel/1000 PL Ethernet chipset supports GigE jumbo frames. But there is no option to set the jumbo frame size in the Advanced Tab of the Network Connection Properties.

Does anyone know if the T60 driver supports GigE jumbo frames and if so how to enable them and set the MTU?

I attempted to get the SiG PCIe firewire card to work with no luck. The PC would lock on the POST cycle, usually with some weirdly coloured screen.

Are there different versions of the advanced dock? Do you have a version number on the model serial number sticker?

I purchased the SiG PCIe Firewire card and was unable to get it to work in the Advanced Dock slot. I wanted to run Firewire HDDs off it. No luck.

Has anyone found a FW 800 PCIE card that is known to work?

My first attempt with the SIIG card didn't work.

If someone has a known good working Firewire card for the Advanced Dock I would like to know about it.

I have only found two FW800 PCIE card manufacturers so far. I bought one, and it did not work at all (couldn't boot).

If you know of a FW800 PCIE card that has been tested to work, please post.

Advanced Dock with Firewire PCI-E card wont boot

I have a couple of external firewire drives I want to use. I notice the Advanced Dock does not have firewire. No problem - I'll buy a card for the single slot in the Advanced Dock. First issue is the Advanced Dock is now PCI Express. Second issue is that it seems to be 8x or 16x (not sure which). So...

Thanks for the suggestions. I used the mmc with certificate snap-in to ensure that the cert was only set for email/client authentication use. One of the two certs was previously installed on my T43 under CSS 6.0 so its not a key limit issue. I specifically checked off the exportable button on the tr...

Client Security Solution 6.01.0037 problem with certificates

I just purchased a T60p. I have several X509 digital certificates I commit to the Security Chip. You do this by importing them via IE, the using the Trasfer Wizard to move the private keys into the chip. On my previous T43p, this all worked fine, using a 6.00 versioned CSS. With 6.01 I cannot get th...
