Sooo.. I found out about tpfancontrol... great tool and i was able to crank the CPU fan to it's max (set to manual value to 255)... Fan spinning at 7800 RPM, lots of noise... but even with CPU utilization <25%, the CPU Temp remains at 65 degrees C. crazy... I guess I should open up the system, do so...

How did you install the ultranav driver? Everytime i try, it doesn't detect any hardware.

Did you force install it (specify disk/location when manually updating driver)?

And if you don't mind, exactly what version of ultranav did you use?

well regardless of the frequencies and ranges... Will the IBM 802.11a/b/g card fit and work with the x24's antenna/bios/etc?

I have a cordless phone that operates on the 2.4 ghz range and that kills my wireles connection everytime.. =(

And since 802.11a works at the 5ghz range, it should be smooth sailing.
