Both my touchpad buttons feel sorta loose - if I put my finger on them and nudge it around like it's the trackpoint I get a little bit of play on both the left and right, although only the left one is squeaky. Anyway, I called Lenovo and they are sending me a new palmrest with instructions to instal...

Squeaky Touchpad Button
I've had my T60 for about a month now and am still more or less impressed, although there have been a couple of quality issues that bug. First, one of the speakers intermittently gives off a static buzzy sound when playing back music (like maybe 3 times out of 10 times playing music). But that's not...

I think Vista is just a slow OS to boot up. My last notebook, a Sony T series with a ULV 1.2GHz Pentium M with 1GB, loaded XP Pro significantly faster than Vista Home Premium loads on my month old T60 7200 C2D with X1400 and 2GB RAM. I did a custom restore with pretty much none of the IBM software, ...

I was thinking of getting a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook card. It's been out for a few years. and has gotten rave reviews. Supposedly it delivers much cleaner sound that is just worlds better than what the standard onboard audio chipset can deliver, although for 99% of people out ther...

Well yes, basically. But ask anyone who knows anything about stereos and they'll tell you a line-out is far preferable to a headphone out for connecting to a stereo. Or if you have an iPod, try connecting it to your stereo using its headphone output and see how less than ideal it sounds. So does any...

Does the T60 have a line-out?
Hi everyone, first post here. I've been the proud owner of a T60 widescreen for about a week now and am very happy. One question though - does the headphone on this notebook double as a line-out? The spec sheet for the T60 describes the jack as "headphone/line-out", and I've seen systems in the past...
