I have had my T40 for over 4 years now since I bought it new in 2003. Have yet to have a single issue with it. I was going to upgrade to a desktop this year, but I found it easier to upgrade the ram, hdd, and cpu, yada yada. Only thing lacking is a decent video card. I dont know much about the t42, ...

Yea I did some ebay searching and picked up a port replicator for 30 bucks shipped. Just didnt know if there was anything else to worry about when picking one up, besides getting the correct power supply and locking key if needed.

Maybe a noob question, but this is an upgrade from the factory t40 wireless adapter, is that a correct assumption? If so, do you still have them in stock

Noob here, I have had my T40 now for officially over 4 years, and she is still running like a champ. My question is, now that I realized how easy it is to do some upgrades to get her competeing with a new system, I was looking in a docking station. Anything i should be looking out for, or any issues...

Possibly interested in the cpu. Got any more info on it, like how old she is? Also assuming you upgraded to this from a 1.3?
