Re: FS: IBM Thinkpad T50 (T43 Based)
Thanks George... :D :D Even adding additional $100 to price at $450 will definitely not make me a rich man. I ONLY wish I can find a good man to take care of it from now on. I think I did find the guy...lol... An absolutely bargain basement price for a splendid and extremely rare machine...whoever e...

Re: My T50 review with MANY LARGE pictures
Hey George and RealBlackStuff, This problem was actually solved by using software ' NEC Brightness Controller'. Now, I can control the brightness of the screen freely and smoothly without flickering. That's not a LED screen, it's ordinary CCFL. I've tried a HVX150U2-100 LED-screen in George's T43p, ...

About X61 Tablet Fan Assembly Model no.
Hello all, I just got a dying X61 tablet from my friend as a gift. The tablet came with fan error. So i need change a fan assembly. I checked for a while, but still quite confused with the part No. of the fan assembly. Is it 42x4399 or something else? The model of the machine is 7764-CTO. Thanks, Joe

Re: Should I buy a X31 or X40?
Just bought a X41 from my friend. And after two weeks' using, i can say that it's really a very nice machine. But the hard drive almost drives me crazy, not only the speed but also the unceasing noises. So personally, I still recommend that you buy X31/X32 for this purpose and also the future upgrad...

about IBM certified used machine, 25% off.
use this link:
https://www-132.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... &langId=-1
and input the code: 906030, then you can have 25% off for notebook, e.g. the T42p C96 will drop from 689 to 516.75.
I don't whether it is useful or not.

Re: Concerning on buying a refurbished T42P.
Thanks a lot Johan. I really appreciate the threads you gave me. I am reading them now. Thanks again. In my eye, the queen of the ThinkPad should be “T42P” and I am looking for it now. Currently, I show interest in a refurbished one sold by the IBM website as the Certified Used Machine. However, as ...

Concerning on buying a refurbished T42P.
I should be considered as a qualified “ThinkPad Fan”. I have used 600X, T22, X30, T42, X61. In my eye, the queen of the ThinkPad should be “T42P” and I am looking for it now. Currently, I show interest in a refurbished one sold by the IBM website as the Certified Used Machine. However, as shown in t...
