Thanks for the info aarontring, I got tried trying to load win98se and loaded xp pro, lo and behold there weren't any problems on the hd, and the machine seems to run ok now however the cooling fan isn't coming on, it comes on briefly at start up then shuts off, any ideas on how to keep it running. ...
