found one video card : 3dfx Voodoo3 3500TV. Sound similar to what you have recommended but not exactly the same. Tried to read more about card on page: http://www.hothardware.com/viewarticle. ... 92&catid=2 but still can't make my mind if that is the one I am looking for...

Direct 3D Acceleration on 600X seems to be disabled on Thinkpad 600X. I believe this is the reason I can not install games on this thinkpad (tried Fifa 2002).
