Re: OS-X hardware damage?
yes, in my opinion, I am sad to say it's possible to make damage to your hardware, about MAC power control of CPU and Videocard. But it's only happen when you have done some edit yourself that not admitted. it's also fare away from one just Download-Install. you know, MAC on thinkpad means to simula...

Re: error with wake function of T60 X1400 10.6.8
To fix this you need to go to Energy Saver preferences and check the box that says "Reboot automatically on power failure". If you don't this box, go to terminal and run this command "sudo pmset -a autorestart 1". thanks to silencer again, I just changed the sleep mode to 3, everything goes perfect...

First of all ,thanks to silencer and many other friends. Now, my T60 is much more better without many problems, but sleep. I use the smbios MBP2.2 from friend tcone and DSDT from master silencer .Now my T60 can use the official CPU powermanagement, and I modified the AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kex...

Re: DSDT Patching for Dummies - SnowLeo with 100% vanilla /S/L/E
MacBook Pro 3.1, except for the video part. For that, probably, you need to use RadeonHD.kext THX friend! I used 3.1 and 3.2 before as your files, and i found something strange for me , the monitor is too bright in 10.6.8. no matter add codes in DSDT or edit the video driver, until i change it to 5...

Re: 10.6.8 is the most problematic update yet
You cannot make Audio and Video work via DSDT patches. For audio you need to use VoodooHDA.kext, and for video look into RadeonHD.kext. i use your whole Extra in your old tip, just delete your EFI in com.apple.pulist is fine. then add atiROM in it ,and drive the video card, it works good. (a little...

I cant deal the problem, it's struggled me for a couple days. maybe i found the reason. i use ATIRadeonX1000.kext to drive my x1400, and the files ATIRadeonX1000.kext from...

Re: 10.6.8 is the most problematic update yet
i just edited the graphic card info in x1000 kext 10.6.5~ 10.6.7 (add my ID 0x71451002), and it worked good as x1400: crystal menu bar (QE?) and no mouse sh1t... without your dsdt in your old tip. but your DSDT makes my T60 work very fast, i like it very much :D in 10.6.8 , my graphic card change as...

Re: 10.6.8 is the most problematic update yet
As i know, 10.6.8 is made for 10.7 updata, and there are many kext changed. like appleHDA, powermanage, many graphic cards' support and Wireless LAN address. Without DSDT, it seems hardly to start your computer (it's a fact around me). and it's said delete AppleCPUPowerManagementClient.kext, AppleCP...
