THis is the absolute smallest metal USB 2.0 enclosure for a 2.5" laptop drive. It's bus-powered and screw-less. Thinner than even my iPod mini.

IBM X22 2662-9EU (Integrated Wireless) SOLD
SOLD This is a fully working X22 (26629eu) that has a few cosmetic damages that doesn't really affect the overall function. I think this machine is suited for someone who either (A) has a really nice THinkpad, but needs something cheap and rugged for outdoors etc. (B) Has a dead X22/x23/x24/ or (C) ...

Swiffer Duster: The BEST dusting tool for Thinkpads
Just want you guys know that the Swiffer Duster is awesome for keeping your thinkpad clean. It works great for dusting off the LCD. 80% of the smudge marks on my screen comes from me trying to clean dust off with my fingers. It also works on the keyboard and the case. If you open up your thinkpad an...

WTB: Looking for Docking port cover/door.
My X22 is missing the docking port cover/door. It should be the same for A/T/X series. I don't think IBM sells it separately. They sell it with the base plate. Does anyone have one around? THanks a lot!

Would X31 Keyboard bezel fit on X22/x23/x24/x30 series?
Just curious if the matte-finish keyboard bezel will fit in the older X-series machines. Thanks

Heads up. Upgr Exp. Models to 3yr may cost< Reg model w/
2378R4U (exp w/ 1 yr) is the same as 2379R1U (reg w/3yr) except for the lack of fingerprint reader. If the reader is not important to you, upgrading the 2378R4U to 3yr depot is actually cheaper than the 2379R1U. At least this is true at the EPP site. It saves me $33 that can get me another 256MB ram.

WOW! Exp X40 w/3yr Onsite Costs< Reg X40 w/ 3yr Onsite
Hey guys, check this out: 2371BMU (regular X40) and 2386BHU (Express model) are identical machines. The EPP price for BMU w/ 3yr 9-5 Onsite upgrade is $1252.65 The EPP price for BHU w/ 3yr 9-5 Onsite upgrade is $1207.55 Basically, upgrading from 1yr or 3yr depot to 3 yr onsite costs the same $83. So...

How much can I sell a new T42p 2373-GUU for?
I am getting a T42p as a brand new replacement (not refurbished) for another T40. Here are the specs: P M 745, 1GB RAM (1 sodimm), 60GB 7200rpm HDD, 14.1 SXGA+(1400x1050) TFT LCD, 128MB ATI FireGL T2, CD-RW/DVD-R Multi-Burner(slim), IBM 802.11a/b/g wireless(MPCI), Bluetooth/Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet(...

Swapping to a new drive
I am assuming that you have a cd drive for installing software on the X40. The easiest way is to directly install it using recovery cds. Reinstall software. And buy a 1.8" USB 2.0 enclosure to transfer your old files over. I think the cleanest way to do it is: 1. Buy a 1.8" external USB 2.0 enclosur...
