I have a dead LCD on a T42 and a live LCD on a T30 (LP141X12).
Are they interchangeable? Can I install the LP141X12 on the T42?

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. I'm sort of scatterbrained most of the time. This can be marked resolved. I got another fan replacement it has been working for quite some time since.

Replacement fuses can be soldered piggyback-style on top of the old one. Next time you need a fan (or other part), don't try Malaysia but our Market forum. At least you will get a properly working fan from a trusted seller. I've ordered from another Amazon reseller :/ The first did end up refunding...

Sooo, hi. I've been wrestling with fan error for a while. I ordered another fan from pchub.com and it took forever to arrive from malaysia. It is obviously used and looks even worse than the one I'm trying to replace. Most importantly, it appears to not work just like the one I'm replacing... http:/...

My fan won't spin intermittently, which leads me to believe it isn't a fuse. Is there a temperature sensor that can go bad or a relay that could work intermittently? I've tried replacing the fan. More often than not, it won't boot with fan error now. I take it these fuses must be unsolder-ed and sol...
