I have solved the problem with the fan noise too.
It is quite hot here in Vienna (Europe), around 32C, so I
use an el. fan, otherwise it is really difficult to stand that heat = well, my TP is very quite now ;)

Memory parity error...

Hi, I'm quite stunned. Just couple of minutes ago, the WinXP halted with the following error: Memory parity check fault. The system is halted WTF? What can be the reason - faulty memory? machine itself? Windows? I would appreciate your advice, thnx. PS: I have 2G Ram installed (T43p) - the additiona...

Re: United

1. Install CHC and downvolt. That helps whether u think downvolting is evil or not. It does help. ok, 2C are down, working temp is 47-50 anyway, it does not change anything 2. I want your opinion on whether the fan is noisy or the air blowing over the vents is noisy? I feel the [censored] fan is no...

T43p Fan noise ... advice is needed

Hello guys, May be some of you do not care about the noise the fan in T43Ps produces, but I do, and it drives me really crazy. The question I would like to ask is - does anyone have any expirience changing the cpu fan? Which one would you recommend? I have found this link: www.arctic-cooling.com but...

What kind of model do you have?
If what you are writing is true, then I have a notebook with a defect, I guess. I can't bring the temp lower then 47. Normally it is around 48-50C.

I am also puzzled sometimes when many Dell users reported that fans in their laptops rarely come on. Funny enough, 2 of my collegues have dells (sorry, I don't remember the exact models, they bought it couple of months ago though) and the other one has T42p (everything the same, but just not sanoma...
