OP posted T410's, meaning "of a T410", NOT of a T410s!
To make absolutely sure, please post your 7-character TYPE from the label on the bottom. Looks like e.g.: 2522-23U

Replacing a cracked LCD with an LCD with a larger resolution
Well it was bound to happen sooner or later... I finally managed to crack one of my T410's screens. Fortunately I'm pretty handy with a screwdriver, and the repair/maintenance documentation on the T410 is extensive, so I don't foresee any trouble replacing the LCD myself. I was wondering though, sin...

Re: Adding built-in Bluetooth to a T410 that doesn't have it
Hate to disappoint you, but your BT-module is an old one, which only supports BT2.0 I decided to try installing an internal Bluetooth adapter (among other fixes/upgrades) on another of my T410s, and this time I was able to find the Bluetooth 4.0 module (FRU 60Y3303) and it installed without a hitch...

Re: Adding built-in Bluetooth to a T410 that doesn't have it
Thanks for coming back and posting your experience. Question: Do you have the auction number and/or FRU? I'm assuming it might be 60Y3303 but it's nice to have a confirmation. The FRU of the part that I ordered is 39T0497. It is actually a BT module meant for the T60P/T61P/X60. According to the Thi...

Re: Adding built-in Bluetooth to a T410 that doesn't have it
Answering my own question, in case someone who has the same question as I did finds this thread through a Google search... As it happens, I had to take my T410 apart for other reasons (failing fan) so decided to investigate while it was disassembled. As documented in the Hardware Reference Manual, t...

Adding built-in Bluetooth to a T410 that doesn't have it?
I have a Thinkpad T410 model 2537-JU5, which has built-in WiFi but not built-in Bluetooth. I was wondering, is it possible to add built-in Bluetooth to this machine? Is it as simple as buying a compatile Bluetooth adapter (the same part # as listed in the Hardware Reference Manual) and just popping ...

Re: Help - need to determine the correct CPU Fan to order
That one has integrated graphics. Fans: 45M2721 or 45M2723 Don't stare yourself blind on the overview of models. For most laptops it suffices if you know the model (like X201, T410, W500, etc.) as well as the screen-size and what graphics it has. Thanks for the advice. I was able to find the part n...

Help - need to determine the correct CPU Fan to order
My T410 has started failing boot with a "Fan Error", and indeed it appears as though the fan is starting to wear out. Time to order a replacement. The problem is I can't figure out what the part # I need to order is. My T410 is the Intel Core i5-520M model, which, according to the sticker on the bot...

Using/storing Serial Ultrabay Slim devices when NOT in my TP
I recently purchased a refurbished T410, and am quite pleased with the machine. I needed a decent workhorse and was on a tight budget, and the 410 fit the bill nicely. It came with a DVD drive, which I have since upgraded to a Blu-ray. I also got a SATA drive caddy so that I can optionally mount a 2...
