Is the T60 on the left a widescreen? The sides where the keyboards look to be too think for a 15" screen, but them I'm looking at my Z60m as a reference and a 15" T43, so I could be wrong.

Does the stock IBM warranty provide international cover? I'm not sure. Their phone # is 800-334-9693. Press 1 and 1 again. I have to admit that when I got my Z60m from Thinkpadwold, I was really impressed. The laptop looked new and the battery had only been cycled twice. Then a few days before my 6...

You have an M, hes talking about the T. The T model doesnt have an all in one reader.
D'oh. The T only has the SD card slot.

Hrm... IMO that'd rather dumb thing for Lenovo to do, isn't it?

I'm another proud owner of a Z60m. :D My previous laptop was a X22 so this was quite a jump. I love the laptop and the only thing that I can think of that I don't like about it is the amber ThinkLight. Why they went from the white ThinkLight to amber is beyond me. I'm not sure what ANDS means by no ...

Problems with Z60 battery?

On my Z60m (2529-EAU) I think I've got a problem with my battery. I mainly use the laptop plugged in with the AC adapter but yesterday I went and tried to power up with just the battery and it wouldn't power up. Initially I thought it was the power button, but when I plug in the AC adapter, it power...

The on-site experiences that I've been part of have been great. At work where I'm one of the PC Technicians I've had one motherboard replaced for a T42 and one for a T43 and both were replaced on-site within 24 hours after I called them in. Also, I had a user who broke a key on their keyboard on the...

Ah yes, wine and laptops don't mix too well (or any liquid for that matter). I too had to find out the hard way... 1. The T40 memory is DDR (PC2700) while the memory in the Z60 series is DDR2 (either PC2-4200 or PC2-5300). So the memory in the T40 won't work in the Z60. 2. I'm pretty sure that...

Have you checked on the wireless radio switch? It's on the front of the laptop and somewhat lower left when facing the laptop.

Also, the wireless card is a mini-PCI type so it's replaceable without having to have the whole systemboard replaced.

Re: PC2-4200?

Just ignore me...it's the chipset in the z60 that limits the DDR speeds. I wonder why Lenovo doesn't just sell it with PC2-3200 then, since thats as fast as it can run. Where did you hear that? The T43 and the Z60 share the same tpe of memory and I don't think the Z Series has them bandwidth limite...

I've worked with ThinkPad's at work and most of them have been just the 15" XGA screens, although lately it's been the 15" SXGA+ screens. I really love the screen resolution and...
